Review every shape before a field is created
When you import fields from KML, KMZ, Shapefile or GeoJSON, nothing is saved straight away anymore. Every shape in the file shows up in a review list with a suggested role (Obstacle, No-Spray, Skip or Boundary) and a tag that tells you how confident that suggestion is:
Sure
,
Likely
or
Guess
. Change any of them with one click, or use
All · Obstacle
/
All · No-Spray
to set everything at once.
Shapes with the same name are grouped, so twelve poles are one row, not twelve. Click a group or a single shape and the map zooms to it, which makes it easy to check what you're looking at.
image
If a shape is really a field of its own, click
Boundary
and it becomes a separate field. Changed your mind?
Undo decision
puts it back, and
Redo decision
brings it back again.
image
When it all looks right, pick what should happen if a field with the same name already exists (
Skip
or
Overwrite
) and click
Save all
. The first time you import, a short walkthrough explains each part of the panel. You can replay it any time from the
?
next to the panel title.
Preview prescription maps before you save them
Importing a prescription map from a file now opens it in the editor first. Click
Continue to preview
, and the map is laid out on your field with a summary of what was read from the file: the file name, how many cells were found and how many are sprayed, where the boundary came from, and any warnings.
From there you can rename the map, change the unit or touch up the cells, then click
Save
. Click
Back
and nothing is saved.

Import Pix4Dfields XAG prescription maps
There's a new
XAG
tab on the Import Prescription Map page. Export a VRA mission from Pix4Dfields in XAG format and upload the *_Prescription.json file. The rates in the file are in L/ha and are converted to the dosage unit you work in (for example gal/acre), so you don't have to do the math.
Pick a field under
Clip to Field
and the map keeps that field's outline. If you skip it, the boundary follows the sprayed area in the file, and the preview tells you so before you save.
image
Improvements
Import large prescription map files
You can now import prescription map files up to 200 MB each, and the upload area shows that limit. After you click
Continue to preview
, the button shows the upload progress, so you can see how far a large file has got. If a file is over 200 MB, you're told straight away which file it is, before anything is uploaded.
image
Dosage by Zone adds up to the map's area
On a prescription map's details page,
Dosage by Zone
now has a
Blank cells / Job default
row. It covers the cells inside the map that have no rate in the file; those cells are sprayed at the job's default rate. With this row, the zone areas add up to the map's Area. Zones with a rate of 0 are still listed on their own.
image
Area is filled in as soon as you import
Prescription maps imported from a file now show their area on the details page right after you save. Before, Area showed a dash until you opened the map in the editor and saved it again.
image
Fixes
DJI GeoTIFF maps from Pix4D import at the right size
Some Pix4D GeoTIFF exports fill everything outside the sprayed area with zeros. Those zeros were being read as part of the map, so the boundary came in as the full rectangle of the file, which can be several times larger than the field. Zero cells are now treated as empty, and when you choose a field under
Clip to Field
, the map uses that field's outline.
Maps with a single rate across the whole area also used to come in with no colour. They're now shown in one colour, with a matching legend.
image
Points and lines in KML and GeoJSON field files are kept
When a field file also contained points (such as poles) or lines (such as power lines), those shapes used to be dropped without warning. They now come in as obstacles: points as 5 m round obstacles and lines as line obstacles, and a
Notes about this file
message tells you what was added.
Features
Share a flight replay with a link
Your customers want to see the work, not sign up for an account to see it. You can now send them a link to the replay. It opens in any browser, and no login is needed.
In Manage Flight Records, open a day's card, tick the flights you want to show, and click
Share
. One link can cover a single flight or the whole day.
image
Before you create the link, pick two things:
  • Access code
    – none, or a 4-character code the viewer types in before the replay opens.
  • Expires
    – after 7 days, after 30 days, or on a date you choose.
image
The person you send it to sees the field boundary and every selected flight on one map, with playback, the flight list, total coverage, duration and average speed. Drones show up as D1, D2 and so on, and serial numbers are left out. The page is view-only, so nothing can be changed from it.
image
Keep track of the links you've sent
My Shares
, at the top right of Flight Records, lists every link you've created with its access code, expiry date, status and visit count. From each row you can copy the link and code again, change the expiry, revoke the link or delete it. A revoked link stops working right away, and anyone who opens it is told it has been turned off.
The visits icon shows when the link was opened, on what kind of device, and any wrong access-code attempts.
image
Create a prescription map from a field
The field details panel has a new prescription map button. Click it and the editor opens with that field's boundary already loaded and linked, so you can start painting rates straight away.
image
image
Prescription maps you draw or import now save their field too
When you draw a prescription map from scratch, or import one, the outline is now saved to Manage Fields as well.
Save boundary as field
is on by default.
If you already have a field in that spot, the map is linked to it and no duplicate is created. A boundary that only partly overlaps an existing field is saved as a new field. Turn the switch off if you only want the map.
image
The new field takes the prescription map's name, and you'll see it in the map's details. You can rename it in Manage Fields like any other field.
image
The same switch is on the Import Prescription Map page.

Features
Growers without an email address
Some growers do not have a mailbox. They work through a co-op, or they take calls on a mobile and nothing else. Until now the Add Grower form stopped at the email field, and those growers could not be recorded at all.
Email is now optional. Enter it if you have one and we check whether it is already tied to an account. If the grower has none, choose "They don't have an email" and go straight to the form.
image
Add an email later
A grower saved without an email is marked "No login yet" in the list, and their page carries an "Add an email address" button. Enter the address and the invitation goes out. When the grower follows the link, the account is activated on the record that already exists: same farms, same fields, same jobs and reports. Only the login is new.
image
A contact list on every grower
A grower now holds a list of contacts instead of a single email and phone number. Each entry has a first and last name, an optional role — Owner / Operator, Farm manager, Bookkeeper, Agronomist, Co-op manager or Other — an email, a phone number and notes. Email or phone will do; both is fine too.
One contact is the primary one. The star icon on any row promotes it, and the grower list shows the primary contact with "+2 more" beside it when there are others on file.
image
Contacts are a record, not an account. They cannot sign in, and nothing is sent to them. Invitations, password resets and sign-in codes still go to the address on the account.
image
Improvements
  • A phone number is now validated when it is the only way to reach the grower. No email plus a number that does not fit the country is refused; a bad number alongside a valid email no longer blocks the record.
  • Address line, ZIP code and city are no longer required to add a grower.
  • Editing a grower no longer re-checks a phone number you did not change, so an old number cannot lock the record.
  • Inviting an email address that already belongs to another account is refused with a clear message instead of overwriting the other record.
  • Contact phone numbers no longer have to match the grower's country. A Brazilian number can be saved on a US grower.
  • Fixed a failure that could return a server error when saving the primary contact.
  • Fixed two confirmation prompts that never appeared.
Tips
The new pieces sit in three places:
  • Adding a grower
    — Add Grower, then either enter the email to check it, or "They don't have an email" to skip it
  • Recording a co-op's people
    — open the grower, then Contacts → Add contact; set the main one as primary with the star
  • Bringing a grower online
    — open the grower, then Add an email address to send the invitation

Applicator View v1.0.9 Release

Features
Interface language expanded to four options
Canadian English
and
Canadian French
join the existing
English
and
Portuguese
, covering interface text, messages and form labels. Once you are signed in, your choice is stored with your account and applied automatically when you sign in on another device.
image
Country, state/province
and
chemical
names appear in your chosen language
Country and state/province names in dropdown lists are shown in the current interface language and ordered the way that language orders them. Chemical names follow the language as well. Changes take effect immediately, without reloading the page.
image
Numbers, dates and units of measure follow your country
Thousands and decimal separators, day-and-month order, and metric or imperial units are all presented according to the country on your account. This is independent of the interface language — a Brazilian user who switches the interface to English still sees 1.234.567,50 and local date formatting.
Amounts state their currency
Amounts now indicate the currency they are expressed in, so users outside the United States will not read them as local currency.
Phone numbers are validated and formatted for your country
Length and prefix rules differ from country to country. Numbers are now checked against the rules of the country you select, and formatted as you type in that country's conventional style.
image
Address fields adapt to each country's administrative structure
Administrative divisions differ between countries, so the address form now adjusts which fields it asks for based on the country you select:
  • Postal code changes name by country — ZIP Code in the United States, Postal Code in Canada, CEP in Brazil — and validation has been relaxed accordingly, so letters and hyphens are saved correctly
  • State / province is offered as a dropdown or as free text, depending on whether the country has a standard list of divisions
  • County appears only for countries that have this administrative level, such as the United States. Users in Canada, Brazil and elsewhere no longer see the field
image
Farms support addresses worldwide
When creating or editing a farm you can now select its country, and the address fields adapt to local format.
Improvements
  • Fixed postal codes containing letters (such as Canada's K1A 0B1) not being saved correctly
  • Fixed an account error message that could appear during sign-in
  • Fixed the phone number retaining its previous value after changing country
  • Fixed some text not displaying correctly in the Portuguese interface
  • Improved support for screen readers and browser translation in non-English interfaces
  • Standardised all list pages to show 10 rows per page
  • Removed a non-functioning theme toggle from the registration and invitation pages
Tips
The new language support is most visible in these areas:
  • Signing up
    — country selection, phone number entry and validation, address details
  • Adding/Editing a grower
    — country selection and locally formatted address
  • Adding/Editing a farm
    — country selection and locally formatted address
  • Creating a chemical
    — chemical name
Everything above updates immediately when you switch language. Note that interface language and country are two separate settings: language determines the wording, while country determines how numbers, dates and units are presented. You are free to combine them as you wish.

Applicator View v1.0.8 Release

This release centres on
multi-drone, multi-flight operations,
spanning the flight records list, the
replay page
and
device
management.
一、Features
1. Concurrent multi-drone, multi-flight replay
Every flight flown on one field in one day now replays on a single map at once, advancing together on a shared wall clock so the operation plays back as it actually happened. The panel header names the field and states how many flights and drones the replay covers. Each flight in the list has its own checkbox — replay exactly what you tick, and the map tracks, timeline, fleet legend, playback controls and live data panel all follow. The list footer carries Select all, Deselect all, Expand all, Collapse all and Refresh list. With nothing selected the map keeps only the field boundary, and the playback controls and legend disable themselves.
image
2. Per-drone colours, with routes and spray fully rendered
Every drone carries its own colour across map tracks, spray, the fleet legend, flight row dots and the statistics panels. Unworked stretches show as a thin route line and turn into that drone's spray band the moment it passes, drawn right at its current position; turnarounds render as true arcs, and take-off points and each drone's track start are marked individually — consistent between the map and list views. Drones in playlist lists every drone in the replay with its colour, code, model and work area, and collapses when not needed; the flight records map legend adds a colour picker for overriding any drone's route colour.
image
3. Live drone labels that move out of each other's way
Each drone carries a label showing its code · model with live V (speed) and R.H (relative height). When drones close in, the labels reposition themselves above, below or to either side to stay clear of one another, each tethered back to its drone by a leader line in that drone's colour — so even in the tightest formation, it is clear whose numbers you are reading.
image
4. Pilot settings compared across the day's flights
Every flight row carries its Swath and Preset Dosage on the face of it; expanding the row adds Drone Model, Work Mode, Acreage Dosage, Spray Volume, Completion Rate and Flight Duration. Swath, preset dosage and work mode — the values a pilot sets — are compared across every flight flown that day, and any that departs from the majority is flagged with a warning icon, with a notice at the top of the panel that settings differ. Measured results are left out of the comparison, since those legitimately vary between flights.
image
5. Replay controls and live data panel
Idle stretches with no flying are compressed away, so the progress bar carries no dead space; click anywhere on it to seek, and scrubbing follows smoothly. Hovering a flight row highlights its track on the map. The right-hand panel carries the Operation Overview for the day alongside Live Position, Real-time and Spraying readings, following both the selection and the highlight. The playback bar and legend widths adapt to whichever side panels are open, and the track stays centred in the visible area.
image
6. Flight-aggregated day cards
Flight records group by date and field: one card summarises every flight flown there that day — participating drones with their colour marks, Total Operation Area, Total Flight Duration and flight count. Beyond three drones, +N reveals the remaining codes in place.
image
7. By drone statistics
Area, Duration, Flights and Rate broken down by drone, in either a List or a Chart view, with multi-drone trend comparison and period-over-period deltas.
image
image
8. Plant protection band with first-visit guidance
Plant protection — the operation totals for the filtered period — is now a collapsible band shared by the map and list views, condensing to Area, Duration and Flights chips when closed. On a first visit, a Click to expand for more guide points at its expand control and at By drone, so the statistics inside are not missed.
image
9. Drone filter and system-wide UAS SN
Filter records by drone, several at a time, searching by full code, short code or the drone's name. The filter menu, By drone panel and chart, day cards, map legends, replay flight list and playback labels all show the same full UAS SN as device management.
image
10. Cumulative device metrics with fleet-wide sorting
Device management gains a Cumulative column group — Area, Hours, Flights — carrying each drone's lifetime totals. The detail page adds a Cumulative card with Cumulative Area, Cumulative Duration, Cumulative Flights and Average Application Rate, each showing that drone's % of fleet against the Fleet average. All three columns sort across the entire fleet before paging, so the first page holds the true highest or lowest drones and paging stays continuous, with never-flown drones sorted to the end.
image
11. Corrected operational metrics
Acreage Dosage now reads in L/mu rather than L/ha, correcting three places that under-reported it roughly 15-fold. Flight Duration derives from take-off and landing times everywhere it appears — records list, cards, detail, exports, and both the list and detail pages of the daily flight report — and durations travel as milliseconds end to end, removing the mixed-unit anomalies.
二、Performance
1. Replay data loading
The flight list now reads from one flight-summary request instead of fetching each flight's detail — 24 requests down to 1 for a 24-flight day. Track data loads only for ticked flights, and reuses its local cache when selections or colours change rather than downloading again.
2. Drone filter loading
Fleet information arrives in a single request instead of paged batches (up to 10 round trips for a large fleet), and refreshes on each page entry so an account switch or permission change takes effect immediately.
3. One fewer request on device list and detail
Cumulative figures arrive with the main data — saving a round trip on the list's first load, paging and keyword search, and delivering the drone's own and the fleet's totals with the detail itself.
Sync to RC Toggle for Field / Prescription Map
Note: For security reasons, synchronization to the remote control cloud is only supported.
  • Scope
Field
create/edit,
Prescription Map
create/edit
  • Description
A new "Sync to RC" toggle has been added to the Field and Prescription Map create/edit flows, controlling whether the latest saved data is pushed to the Remote Controller (RC).
  • Behavior
- The toggle state is session-scoped and not persisted: every time the create/edit page is opened, it resets to the default (on) state and does not remember the previous selection.
  • Enabled (default): After a successful save, the system pushes the latest field/prescription map data to the Remote Controller.
  • Disabled: The save only updates platform data; no push to the Remote Controller is triggered.
  • Helper text below the toggle updates in real time to reflect the current sync outcome.
  • This toggle is only available when the field type is Field; auxiliary types such as Adjacent Crop do not support this setting.
  • Use case: Useful when bulk-maintaining field/prescription map data, or when a Remote Controller update isn't needed yet — users can temporarily disable sync to avoid unnecessary device-side pushes.

Applicator View v1.0.6 Release

1. Field edge-length labels
When you select or edit a field, the length of every boundary edge is now labelled directly on the map, following your unit preference (m/ft) and covering both outer and inner rings. Hover over an edge to slide out a CAD-style dimension line that reads out that edge's length. Edges too short to read are automatically hidden as you zoom out to avoid clutter. Toggle it on/off anytime from the Layers panel.
  • edge-length labels

2. Batch share fields
Select multiple fields at once and share them to another user by email in a single action. Sharing is copy-based — it never touches your own field data — and results are reported per field, so a partial failure clearly shows exactly which fields didn't go through.

3. Improvements
Batch action panel animation
The bottom batch action panel now expands and collapses with a smooth, springy slide (with a subtle bounce), replacing the previous abrupt pop.

Known Issues / Beta Features
The following feature is currently under development, validation, and Beta testing:
Intelligent flight planning and battery endurance optimization, including smarter route generation, improved mission sequencing, and higher overall operational efficiency.
Internal testing has already shown promising improvements in flight smoothness, operational efficiency, and overall productivity. These enhancements will continue to be refined and validated in upcoming releases.
Important Notes
Version Compatibility
To ensure proper operation, the following components must be upgraded together:
Charger ↔ Battery
UAV Firmware ↔ App
Failure to keep versions synchronized may result in feature incompatibility, abnormal functionality, or unexpected system behavior.
Battery Firmware Upgrade Process
Battery firmware is included in the UAV firmware package.
After upgrading the UAV firmware, the aircraft will automatically detect any connected battery running an older firmware version and perform the battery firmware upgrade.
Please allow the battery firmware upgrade to complete before operating the aircraft.
Operational Notes
  1. New Turning Behavior
Turning performance has been significantly improved, making turns much smoother and faster. During turns, the aircraft now performs coordinated lateral movement instead of simply pivoting in place.
If the Home Point, Transfer Point, and working area are located very close together, the aircraft may appear to sway or rock while transitioning between them. This is a normal characteristic of the new flight logic and does not indicate a flight control issue.
  1. Boundary Flight Speed
Boundary flight speed can now be set much higher (for example, 40 mph).
However, when a boundary contains sharp 90-degree corners with a high density of mapped boundary points, the aircraft may temporarily overshoot the planned boundary due to its higher flight speed and turning momentum.
This is not a loss-of-control condition. To avoid overshooting the boundary in these situations, we recommend reducing the boundary flight speed when operating in fields with tight corners or densely mapped boundary points.
Future firmware releases will further optimize this behavior, allowing the aircraft to negotiate these complex boundary sections more smoothly.
Upgrade Recommendation
For the best performance, reliability, and access to the latest features, we strongly recommend upgrading all system components to the versions listed in this release.
Improvements & Fixes
  1. Fixed an issue where the charger could incorrectly report "Short Circuit Protection" or trigger overcurrent protection during charging.
  2. Fixed an issue where charging inrush current could cause the generator to surge or output undervoltage, resulting in the charger entering protection mode.
  3. Fixed a hardware protection issue where SRMOS failure in the power stage could short the battery and potentially cause component damage.
  4. Added support for Battery Pack Serial Number (PACK SN) configuration.
  5. Fixed an issue where the charger could not be activated.
Upgrade Notes
  • Power the charger using the generator power cable during the firmware upgrade.
  • Before starting the upgrade, verify that all power modules are powered on:
  • * 9 kW charger: Both power modules must be powered.
  • * 12 kW charger: All three power modules must be powered.
  • Do not insert a battery into the charger during the firmware upgrade.
  • After the firmware upgrade is complete, restart (power cycle) the charger before use.
